Monthly MX+ release: Efficientix's tax and operations localization for Oracle NetSuite in Mexico.
During October, MX+ incorporated improvements to make invoicing, stamping, and customs operations more reliable. This summary covers the new features in versions v26.10.0, v26.10.1, and v26.10.2.
Basic
Invoicing and tax documents
- **Credit notes with multiple related invoices:** they can now be correctly associated with all the invoices they settle, with a manual option available when specific documents need to be selected.
- **Prepayments with taxes:** the applied amount correctly accounts for taxes, helping ensure the final invoice is settled without discrepancies.
- **Payment Complements with different taxes:** stamping supports combinations of taxed concepts, exempt concepts, withholdings, and IEPS, as well as partial payments and credit notes.
- **Tax information for child customers:** when creating invoices, the settings configured for the child customer take priority, the parent customer's information is used when data is missing, and manual changes are respected.
- **Refunds and VAT reclassification:** refunds no longer interrupt the processing of VAT reclassifications corresponding to the applied invoices.
- **IEPS fixed-rate:** the base and amount reflected in the document correspond to the tax data calculated for the transaction.
Stamping and cancellation
- **Test environment for Sandbox accounts:** test accounts stamp using a test issuer and test services, preventing real documents from being accidentally certified. If the environment is not configured, MX+ indicates what data needs to be completed.
- **CFDI timestamp based on the issuer's time zone:** the certification date and time are calculated using the time zone of the place of issuance (for example, Baja California, Sonora, or Quintana Roo), respecting the 72-hour rule for invoices.
- **Cancellation reflecting the actual status with SAT:** a document is only marked as canceled once SAT confirms it; if the request is still in progress, its status can be checked and both the document status and the process status are displayed in a single field.

- **New Manuals portal within MX+:** manuals published by Efficientix can be accessed directly from NetSuite, with a cleaner reading experience.
Pro
Addenda
- Addenda Platform coverage was expanded to include Coppel, Chedraui, Soriana, Soriana Simplified, VNA, Waldos (including the motorcycle variant), and City Fresko.
- Fields and adjustments were added to complete the information required by the supported addenda.
- **Addenda by transaction type:** the customer defines whether their addenda applies to invoices, credit notes, or both; if it does not apply, it is not added and a notice is displayed.
Foreign Trade
- **Auto-fill by Pedimento key:** when entering the key (A1, RT, or V1), MX+ automatically populates the export type, the Foreign Trade complement, and the corresponding fiscal legend, reducing inconsistent combinations.
Tax calculation
- **IEPS by fixed-rate and by percentage, and VAT on IEPS:** the calculation is available in the tax configuration of compatible accounts, with no manual steps required.
Pedimentos
- Pedimento recording on purchase and sales invoices was expanded, including direct transactions and documents related to orders or receipts.
- Traceability by lot and serial number makes it possible to identify the Pedimento associated with each unit or group of units.
- Balance consumption takes existing availability into account and helps prevent negative or duplicate balances.
- Receipts derived from transfers can proceed without re-entering customs data already recorded in the purchase flow.
- Controlled reversal of deliveries with Pedimentos allows the corresponding balances to be recovered.
- On direct sales invoices, Pedimento consumption is more reliable, and the invoice indicates whether it was processed, whether there was insufficient balance, or whether no Pedimentos were found, specifying which item or units were missing.
Premium
Global Invoice
- After a Global Invoice is certified, its individual documents automatically receive the stamping information, such as the UUID.
- Process controls prevent more than one certification request from being submitted when the button is pressed multiple times.
